4 (MORE) Madison WI restaurants we’ve been enjoying lately
There’s no shortage of great restaurants in Madison, Wisconsin! Here are 4 places we’ve been eating recently –some oldies and a couple new spots! Have you been to these? The warmer weather and longer days make exploring Madison’s great restaurant scene a bit more enjoyable. Your Madison Eats Food Tours team has been hard at work eating (I mean it IS their job:) and wanted to share four of our latest top Madison WI restaurants we’ve been enjoying with you.

- The Globe
309 N Henry St.
The Globe Madison
This popular spot off State Street has been open since 2018 and is worth the hype. It’s usually busy, doing take out with limited table space. They offer an array of Asian fare, with a Mexican and Mediterranean splash. I LOVED the tiktak curry with chicken and veggie samosas with a piquant sauce. The rice bowl looks divine and the mango lassi was perfectly tart and sweet. My only regret is it took me so long to get there!

2. Osteria Novella
2903 University Ave
https://osterianovella.com
This Italian dining destination on Madison’s near west side recently opened by Chef Giovanni Novella of Bar Corallini. It is the perfect spot for an after work drink or date night (or any night). Chef Gio focuses on homemade pasta and delicious wood fired pizza, as well as flavors of the Amalfi coast. You can’t go wrong with any of those choices, but save room for the chocolate budino – his house signature dessert.

3. The Baked Lab
2044 Atwood Ave
https://www.thebakedlab.com
Shawn Bolduc opened a brick and mortar bakery and cafe on Atwood Ave in February of 2026 after several years of building his business creating the most delicious and striking cakes and desserts for weddings and special occasions. His new space offers an expanded menu, including focaccia and bars, delicious tarts and in the evening plated desserts along with a beer and wine menu.

4. Eloura Mediterranian
10 W Mifflin St
https://elouramediterranean.com
The newest restaurant on the square JUST opened in March 2026 under the ownership of siblings Kalyani and Akash Venkatraman, owners of the popular Zaferrano. Eloura fuses Mediterranean and Asian flavors which Akash says reflects their desire to connect people from various cultures through food. Open for lunch and dinner with a cafe as well serving drinks such as a blood orange latte. Highlights were the olive oil sour, the lamb kofta bao and the kebab rice bowl. OH! And the secret sauce for the fries.
